Nova Bank Fyn at a glance

After making an agreement with Nordea in August 2009 on the taking over of the main part of Fionia Bank, the Financial Stability Company established a new subsidiary company, FS Selskabet af 23/9 2009 A/S, (now Nova Bank Fyn A/S).

The intention is to transfer all the activities from Fionia Bank, which is not taken over by Nordea, to this company.

On this basis, it was decided on an extraordinary general meeting on 26 October 2009 to increase the company’s capital from DKK 500,000 to DKK 60m. All new shares were subscribed by the sole shareholder the Financial Stability Company A/S. The company is a fully owned subsidiary of the Financial Stability Company A/S.

It was furthermore decided to change the object of the company viz. to run banking, securities trading and other activities in accordance with the relevant legislation in order to safeguard the best possible economic profit of the liquidation of the company taken over from Fionia Bank A/S (DVR nr. 31 93 47 45).

On 26 October 2009 the company received its bank licence from the Danish FSA. After that the company changed its name to Nova Bank Fyn A/S.
